OLD BUSINESS

RED KNIGHTS TAGS –The tags have been delayed due to additional requirements from the DMV.  Curtis Waters was not in attendance but the tags have not been received to date.

NEW BUSINESS

2011 CONVENTION – Bob Thompson asked last month for volunteers to be on an Organizing Committee. To date there have not been any volunteers. Bob wants to start sending out information to Red Knights International every two weeks about the convention. The top two floors of the Quality Inn on 17th street will be used as a convention site. A question was brought up about the design of the convention pin. Ed Kukta suggested using a picture of the Fire Fighters Memorial on the pin which everyone in attendance agreed with.

MEETING ATTENDANCE- Chuck Pemberton questioned about the lack of attendance at the meetings. John Tortufo said the main problem was lack of communication either through emails or the web site. John then volunteered to be the clubs communication officer which everyone in attendance agreed to.

WEB SITE- Discussion about redoing the web site or getting the web site maintained properly.  John Tortufo suggested hiring  a person or company to set the site up and maintain it. Bob Thompson suggested that everyone think about the website situation and have a solution by the next meeting.

BIKE WEEK – With Harley Davidson closing the Berlin location, the club has been asked to take over the event. There has been no response at this time.

SOUP SALE- John Tortufo will again cook and distribute the soup at his expense. He suggested for the members to push getting soup orders to increase the sales this year.

DONATION- John Tortufo suggested the club donate $100 to the IAFF Burn Foundation. All those in attendance agreed.
